I got into XXXX XXXX last year and missed a a couple of payments on my mortgage. I talked to a rep with a plan in catching up my payments while also seeking out mortgage help through XXXX XXXX. During the process of applying through XXXX XXXX, I was still making payments on my mortgage with the intent of catching up by paying more than the monthly payment. The last payment that was accepted was on XX/XX/2023 and I've sent 2 more payments since then to attempt to honor my obligation. I was sent a letter stated that per my mortgage loan that my payments are being sent back. I emailed the debt collector from the bank and asked where in my paperwork was that stated. She refused to tell me or respond through email. I want to communicate through email for XXXX XXXX purposes on my end. In my contract with them, there is no such wording from what I read that gives them the right to deny my payments. I asked a legitimate question and they failed to respond with an answer.
