A few months ago I reviewed a copy of my XXXX and TransUnion credit reports where I noticed an account that is reporting inaccurately. It is showing misleading information, since it is showing the account as Paid/ Paying as Agreed but has late payments listed in the history. This misleading data is causing great harm to my credit score and its detrimental to my financial well being. I contacted each bureau by mail and phone to have them correct the issue, but they have not done anything. As I am aware by researching, these inaccuracies on my report are a violation of the Fair Credit Billing Act ( FCBA ), 15 U.S. Code 1666-1666j the creditor must provide me with PROOF that I was indeed late but they CAN NOT. And it also fall under 15 U.S Code 1666 ( b ) billing error. XXXX and TransUnion are violating the following FCRA law by reporting this inaccurate data : : Misleading False Reporting : This account is negatively and inaccurately reporting, failing to comply with 15 U.S.C 1681. Per CRSA enacted, CDIA implemented laws, any and all reporting must be deleted if not Proven CERTIFIABLY fully true, correct, complete, timely, of known ownership and responsibility but also fully XXXX XXXX compliant. Provider Claims Late Payment yet has NOT PROVEN even the compliance of its reporting much less any aspect of determined truth of facts else wise required by obligatory regulations. These bureaus are violating multiple FCRA, FCBA laws and i want them to correct this inaccurate data as soon as possible because it is detrimental to my credit score, which is causing me great stress to me and my family and affecting our ability to grow financially and obtain a home loan.
