XXXX for the SECOND TIME has allowed someone to open an account under my name/information as provided by a soft inquiry to TransUnion. I called XXXX on XX/XX/2013 to initiate XXXX XXXX and they told me they can not proceed until I pay them the {$1900.00} that " I '' owe them, which they sent to collections and reported to at least one credit agency, without ever notifying me ( nor TransUnion notifying me ). This is the 2nd fraud against me by XXXX and I even have Credit Freezes and Fraud Alerts with all major credit agencies! Apparently XXXX only did a soft credit inquiry with TransUnion and ignored any fraud alerts. They have put the onus on me to prove that the {$1900.00} was not in fact meaka Guilty until proven innocent. This conduct is grossly negligent by XXXX and they will not give me service until I prove I do not owe them money. TransUnion is helping to continue to victimize me by permitting others to commit repeated ID theft against me, and this needs to be addressed by the CFPB. TransUnion needs to vet its customers more and cease dealing with them if they have a lack of basic fraud prevention, and stop providing my information to be used to commit further fraud against me. I called TransUnion and after a few phone transfers, they agreed to stop allowing soft inquiries against me. However, they will not send me a copy of my credit report as I have an active dispute. They told me to go to XXXX to access the report that they would not supply, however that website would not allow access to my report either. The fact that I have a dispute/fraud makes it even more important to see my credit report, which they are not allowing.
