XX/XX/2023 I notified Equifax about inaccuracies found on my consumer report causing " DEFAMATION OF MY CHARACTER '' according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 USC 1681 ). The inaccurate information are violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act which includes but is not limited to : -Inquiries ( not in connection with any active or current transaction with a creditor and is unauthorized use of credit ) 15 USC 1681b , 15 USC 1602 -Exclusions-for furnishing a report containing information as to transactions or experiences between me the consumer and the person making the report ( 15 USC 1681a ) -Defamation of Character- the consumer reporting agency, Equifax, furnishing inaccurate information on my consumer report bearing on my CHARACTER, GENERAL REPUTATION, PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND OR MY MODE OF LIVING and because of these inaccuracies I have been injured because this inaccurate information is used or expected to be used or collected in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor in establishing my eligibility forcredit or insurance to be used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes ; Civil Liability for Willful Noncompliance- Equifax willfully fails to comply with requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act with respect to me as a consumer ( 15 USC 1681n ) Civil Liability for Negligent Noncompliance- Equifax is negligent for failing to comply with requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act with respect to me as a consumer ( 15 USC 1681o ) During this time I notified " Equifax " about the inaccuracies according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 USC 1681c ) the consumer reporting agency continues to furnish inaccurate information relating to me as a consumer after being notified. I have 51 inquiries on my consumer report none of which are engaged in any active transactions and now activity DEFAMING MY CHARACTER causing adverse actions whether by increased apr, finance charges or discrimination under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act ( 15 USC 1691 ). I have multiple open/closed accounts with my transactions and experiences that should not be on my consumer report defaming my character marking such as ( " late payments, any and all balances including but not limited to ; original/current balance, highest held balance, monthly payment, past due, status and even violation of 15 USC 1681c with respect to my account information ). Furthermore, because of this inaccurate information Equifax is allowing to be furnished, my character, general reputation, personal characteristics, and or mode of living which is used or expected to be used or collected in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor in establishing my eligibility as a consumer forcredit or insurance to be used primarily for my personal, family, or household purposes; damaging my credit worthlessness, standing and or capacity. ( 15 USC 1681a ) If this matter is answer with a frivolous response I would like for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to further investigate as well as forward all of my information to the Federal Trade Commission
