For 6 months in XXXX I took advantage of the deferred payment program chrysler financial offered during XXXXIn the fall of XXXX a woman from Chrysler financial gave me misinformation and told me my account was current even though online the bill showed a large amount due. She told me to make my regular payment and she told me what date to start it on. I paid as per her instructions. Continued making the instructed payment as per Chrysler employee even though the total amount due online was suggesting different amounts. Months later I saw a late payment on my credit report. So I filed a case XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX confirmed on XX/XX/XXXX that the error was Chryslers fault and not mine and they confirmed they would contact all 3 credit bureaus and make sure the late payment was removed. They confirmed the employee gave me inaccurate information and the online billing showing odd amount due was because of the deferred payment program and many people are Chrylser were confused by it. XX/XX/XXXX late payment again for the SAME reason. Because deferred payment the amount due shown online was out of XXXX. It would show due {$1200.00} instead of the {$390.00} a month. So I called and the gentlemen told me what to pay and I paid it. He told me to pay a certain amount and there would be no late payments. He said again, because of the deferred payment program that the online amount due is not accurate. I did what he instructed and a couple months later I was given another late payment! I filed complaint and on XX/XX/XXXX chrysler reviewed the call and manager said recordings did not show that chrysler caller made a mistake. Even though it was exactly the same Mistake twice. I would like to listen to this call I always paid all my bills on time for 30 years. My history shows that. Even with jeep I paid all payments on time before and after this glitch in their accounting. I think the company had never dealt with the deferred payment for covid and their systems got mixed up. I took advantage of the XXXX 6 month deferral Program and that was my right, I shouldnt be penalized for their accounting error. They set a precedent by admitting to the first error so they need to admit to the second error as it was the same.
