I am writing to dispute the mishandling of my escrow account. I recently received a statement indicating that my escrow account has a negative balance due to a shortage in the account. However, upon reviewing the statement and my payment history, I believe there has been a mistake. I have been diligently making my monthly mortgage payments on time and in full, and I am confident that my payments have been applied correctly. Furthermore, I have not made any changes to my insurance or property tax payments that would warrant such a shortage. I am concerned that this mistake has been made on your end, and I am requesting a thorough investigation into the matter. I request that you provide me with a detailed explanation of how this mistake occurred and what actions you are taking to rectify the situation. Additionally, I ask that you provide me with a corrected statement that accurately reflects my escrow account balance and a plan for replenishing the funds that were wrongly removed from my account. Furthermore all this discrepancies started on XX/XX/2022 after I received a refund check from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of XXXX $ receipt # XXXX XXXX $ were pay to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 and the remaining balance of XXXX $ was left on the check, I spoke to customer service representatives from Caliber Home loans and Corelogic regarding this refund i received and what to do with that money I spoke to agents in XXXX and XXXX to confirm what to do next and they all assure me that nothing need it to be done and I could do with that money as I please, this was deceiving and incorrect information I send 2 letters requesting the transcripts of the calls and they gave me the run around and provide me Inaccurate information saying the transcripts were proprietary information and I need it a subpoena, I am a first time home buyer who come from a non-property-owning family or culture this escrow increased have put a big stress on me.
