I was alerted via text by a company called One Main Financial, the {$6000.00} personal loan papers were ready to sign. This happened on XX/XX/2023. I called the XXXX, CA branch and paid them a personally visit. I was told that the person I spoke to on the phone XXXX was not there. Just a young lady was at a desk behind a stack of papers. I asked her for the loan documents that were in my name and gave her my driver 's license to verify me. She refused. Said to call a number in Texas. I tried many times trying to get a hold of a XXXX without any satisfaction. This is part of a fraud series of events and is among one of 43 inquires for credit or loans by this fraudulent individual. I do not know the status of this loan but they at One Main Financial said that it originated on-line request with XXXX XXXX. I have made no dealings with XXXX XXXX or One Main Financial.
