I received a statement from Capital Accounts stating that I had an account with XXXX XXXX. I do not, nor have I ever owned any vehicle that was serviced by XXXX XXXX. The vehicle that was serviced by XXXX was owned by a corporation XXXX XXXX Any account that would have been created between XXXX and would be the responsibility of the business and not me as an individual. 15 US C 1681 s2a Reporting Information with Actual Knowledge of Errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that information is inaccurate. Checking the vehicle registration with the VIN number would confirm that information. Capital Accounts failed to accurately verify that I and not a business was responsible for this debt.
