XXXX XXXX removed collection remark from my credit report. Equifax. I filed a claim with the consumer financial protection bureau about another issue. XXXX XXXX has changed the remarks back to collection and the address that they are reporting from is a Virginia address. It used to report as XXXX Maryland but since I launched an investigation they have since switched the address on my credit report to a Virginia address. It is unlawful to get a loan in another state where you do not reside. As there are laws in that state that protect their people and the laws are different per state. They know they are wrong for doing this and I want them to change it back to XXXX, Maryland where they were originally reporting from. I did not get a Virginia loan. Branch that I paid my payments to what's located on XXXX XXXX XXXX and when I called I always go to a representative at that branch and if there was an issue they would transfer me to XXXX Maryland. I believe they changed the address so that they could change the remarks again and avoid detection. What they are doing is unlawful.
