In 2022, someone stole my identity and opened an account with XXXX XXXX. The balance was sent to a collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX We filed a police report in XXXX of 2022 and did the required paperwork from XXXX XXXX. At that time, the other credit bureaus had it removed, but Experian did not. We recently found out that the fraud is still on our credit report with Experian, and filed a dispute, but they refused to remove it. Today we called XXXX XXXX who told us they had it removed from the credit collection agency, but they refused to do anything else about it. We called the credit collection agency, who said the debt is still valid and was not removed by XXXX XXXX. They hung up on us and wouldn't tell us anything else. Experian, XXXX XXXX, and the collection agency will not help us have this removed and we are trying to buy a house.
