I applied for a mortgage and had my credit report used with a specific company on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX on Monday morning I started receiving repeated phonecalls from callers with mortgage brokers whom I did not engage. I have since been told that the problem is with Equifax. I have received XXXX phone calls and about XXXX text messages from various brokers at different numbers since Monday. They start calling at about XXXX in the morning and call until XXXX at night. I have no way of stopping the contact other than blocking each individual number. But there are too many numbers to keep track of and it is causing me problems.
