I had a charged off card with Capital One. They offered me to settle for an amount and I accepted. They are still reporting the card as charged off and with a balance. On their email it stated this Credit Reporting of Your Settled Account. If were reporting your account to the credit bureaus and you settle your account for less than the full balance, well update the account reporting to paid in full for less than the full balance. They did not do that.
