I have mailed in a letter to XXXX, Equifax and XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached documentation ) regarding the removal of the inaccurate information on my credit report from the following accounts : - XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Account Number : XXXX - XXXX XXXX XXXX - Account Number : XXXX I still have not received a response. - XXXX XXXX Account Number : XXXX When not receiving a response after 30 days, I reached out to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau seeking help in resolving this issue with this credit reporting agency but unfortunately CFPB has not been making this experience any easier. My initial complaint ( XXXX ) has not been responded to and is still being worked on according to CFPB status. It has been over 30 days since the complaint has been submitted to CFPB and over 60 days since I have reached out to experian regarding the accounts that were submitted. On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted a complaint ( XXXX ) with CFPB and I immediately received a response from XXXX as to why my claim has been closed. YET, I still have not received a response from XXXX, Equifax, XXXX or CFPB regarding my initial claim, ( XXXX ). According to Consumer Law and Fair Credit : - 15 U.S. CODE 1681S-2 supports the violation of reporting information with actual knowledge of errors : A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency. - 15 U.S. CODE 1681 supports the removal of any inaccurate information on my credit report. According to 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) any actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure or damages of not less than {$100.00} and not more than {$1000.00} ; I want XXXX XXXX per violation AND for the accounts to be deleted immediately. Please see attached documentation. This is an injustice and a complete violation of my consumer law rights and I plan to take further action due to the negligence of constant attempts to resolve this matter. It absolutely should not take this long for a response and should be handled with professionalism instead of brushed off. There is no way I should receive a duplicate response to an account thats still being worked on faster than my initial submission
