I have a credit card with Capital One Bank in which I have always made payments on time, for reasons unbeknownst to me, my financial institute XXXXXXXX XXXX blocked all of my payments to Capital One for the month of XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX. I provided Capital One with a letter directly from XXXX XXXX confirming that they made the error. Capital One sent me a letter yesterday in return stating that the information reporting on the credit report is correct. It is not fair that I am being penalized and that my credit rating is being blemished for something that is not my fault. I can also not reach anyone at Capital One to discuss - when I call up the # on the credit card I am being told that the dispute dept is a separate dept. and they do not have a phone #, fax # or email contact - only a mailing address, how can that be allowed?
