Consumer Narrative
Someone contacted me by phone from XXXX and my phone identified the call as being from XXXX, Ga. The woman identified herself as XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX and said she was collecting an over {$800.00} debt that went into debt collection from my phone company, which she identified. She asked for verification of my address and birth date. I told her that I would contact my phone company and she said to call back to take care of it. I called my phone company and they said my account was in good standing and I owed nothing. This is disgusting fraud- makes me sick.
