This morning I logged into my XXXX XXXX account. I noticed there were 2 hard inquiries on Equifax but not on XXXX. I did not recognize the inquiries and tried to find a way to dispute it but it was difficult to navigate. I did a XXXX research and found that I should contact the inquirer as well. After looking up the inquirer information I noticed that while they were physical entities, the address of the inquirers had been changed by just a number and the other address to be a phony XXXX XXXX XXXX I am concerned this may be an identity theft related event and that my personal information may be at risk. I am concerned someone is or has taken credit in my name and would like guidance on how to know or not. These are clearly fraudulent inquiries, XXXX XXXX as well as XXXX and equifax should diligently review these before applying them to reports.
