I am writing to express my concerns regarding the handling of my borrower assistance application by Fay Servicing. On XX/XX/2023, I submitted a request for assistance with my mortgage payments, as I was facing financial difficulties due to my recovery from XXXX. I was prompted to submit additional check stubs as requested by a letter received from Fay Servicing. The additional check subs were submitted via email on XX/XX/2023. However, on XX/XX/2023, when I called to make a payment, I was informed that Fay Servicing would no longer accept payments from me, despite the fact that I have not been sent a demand letter. I found this action to be particularly troubling, as I have never been afforded an opportunity to pay using their online portal or pay-by-phone options. During my attempts to engage with Fay Servicing, I was hung up on twice. I subsequently called back and requested to speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, the supervisor I spoke with answered in a demeaning tone and informed me that the only payment they could accept was the one that was pending, in the amount of {$700.00}. As a result of these actions, I believe that my rights as a borrower are being violated. I have not been given the opportunity to make payments, nor have I received any response regarding my borrower assistance request. It is my belief that Fay Servicing is illegally forcing me into foreclosure by not allowing me to make payments. I have also shared with Fay Servicing the challenges I have been facing as a result of my XXXX and my need for assistance with my mortgage payments. However, their response to my situation has been unsatisfactory. I request that Fay Servicing take immediate action to rectify this situation and provide me with the necessary assistance I require. I am hopeful that we can work together to find a solution that is mutually beneficial.
