RoundPoint 's failure to address ethnic names in its computer systems and its corporate policies fail to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion resulting in clearly discriminatory practices to its borrowers and I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism without having my name botched and distorted, regardless of my ethnic background or cultural identity. RoundPoint 's computer systems inability to recognize or properly display certain ethnic names can lead to incorrect data entry and documentation and can cause significant inconvenience and even financial harm to its customers, as it can result in delays or errors in processing important mortgage-related documents. I believe that as a company, RoundPoint has a responsibility to ensure that its systems are designed to accommodate the diverse range of names that exist within our society. It is unacceptable that customers have to endure such issues due to the limitations of its computer systems. In addition to it, the customers do not have the ability to call and have this problem resolved but have to spend the time sending a letter to address something that the company should have addressed when they decided to take on the servicing of loans from a wide range of ethnic groups. It is absolutely appalling that its ability to enter customer names still follows the XXXX naming convention. I believe it is important for CFPB to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that RoundPoint 's computer systems can properly recognize and handle all ethnic names. It is essential that its systems are designed with inclusivity and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of its customers.
