I contacted XXXX XXXX about this account reporting late when they illegally closed my account while it was current and never late. This account was closed without my permission for no reason of my own. The law states all information must report accurately otherwise be deleted. I plan on pursuing this account in small claims court I have records showing this account being closed I've never been late. I demand this account is removed from my credit immediately as it is reporting inaccurately showing late and I've never been late showing open when it was closed for no reason. When I spoke to the agent they immediately apologized for the status and said they would remove this status and were not able to provide the reason the account was closed. The only thing they mentioned was they sent me a letter to my old address asking me to verify my account I never received a letter so they closed my account and it was currently never reporting late ever in the 2 years I've had an account. I'm in the middle of purchasing my home and this incorrect information that is reported inaccurately is affecting my purchase remove immediately.
