Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/23 I submitted a CFPB Report ( # XXXX ) My complaint against Equifax was Exercising my Federally Protected Consumer Law Rights which included : 15 USC 1681, 15 USC 1681 sec 602A , 15 USC 1681 604A sec 2 , 15 USC 1681c ( a ) ( 5 ), 15 USC 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) ( see Consumer Law definitions ) Equifax received the CFPB complaint & sent a letter requesting Identifying Documents ( Driver License, SS card, Bank Statement, W2 Form ) in order to process my complaint, which was Specifically Noted to " Delete Listed Accounts '' violating my Federally Protected Consumer Law Rights. I sent all requested documents to Equifax via Registered Return Receipt Mail & All signed and included documents were Notarized ( see attachments of receipts ) Equifax in defiance of my Complaint and Federal Law, processed my complaint as a " DISPUTE '' which they have repeatedly done on Every Subsequent Request and Failed to Provide ; " Paper Documentation with wet signatures on contract or other forms which I Requested Method of Verification or Validation ''. Equifax then sent a response letter dated XXXX XXXX to me stating " We Were Unable to Locate your Credit File '' ( see attached letter ) However, Equifax was able to Verify said " Disputed Accts, Update my Credit report and send me a Copy! ..Equifax continues to Violate my Rights and lies about my Credit File not Found in order to Subvert Complying with Federal Law. I herby am Declaring Identity Theft as Reported to FTC ( see attached Report # XXXX ) due to Equifax Blatantly Violating Federal Law under Permissible Purpose 15 USC codes defined above, which states clearly " A Reporting Agency Can Not Furnish an Account Without My Written Instructions '' The Following Accounts violate this clause : The XXXX XXXX Acct # XXXX XXXX XXXX acct # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX acct # XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX acct # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX acct XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX acct # XXXX Also Inquiries : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Now this again is Not a Dispute-Not open for Debate..This is Federal Consumer Law and Reported as Fraud to the FTC. According to Law Equifax has 4 days from receipt of this Complaint with Attached FTC Identity Report # XXXX ( See attached ) I would Expect CFPB to Protect My Federally Protected Rights and Not Allow Equifax to Subvert Law.
