American Express has filed a lawsuit against me without having a valid contract in place. I rescinded the consumer credit agreement a full month prior to the suit being filed. I had sent several payment to the company and they were ignored and/or returned. Then without notice of the intent to sue for the debt the company served me with a lawsuit.
