In XXXX of 2022 I tested positive for XXXX, as did my entire family. Shortly after we all recovered in XXXX we all got the XXXX. Upon returning to work I immediately resumed payments or entered into various agreements to avoid penalties/interest/late charges. XXXX credit card sent me an offer on XXXX. I will attach the email. I then followed the instructions in the email and on XXXX I made a payment of XXXX to my account, as requested in the email. I then got an email confirmation that my payment was applied. I then logged on today and made another payment of XXXX, well over the minimum due. I noticed on my credit report ( s ) it shows my account as " closed ''. Nowhere in this email ( attached ) does it indicate by making this payment you are " agreeing '' that we will close your account, nor does it say anything about closing my account. I attempted to contact them directly via the chat option in my online account. I asked them to please correct what is being reported to the credit companies because this information is not accurate. They informed me that it is accurate, and they won't be changing it. This is unacceptable. It has devastated my credit score and I am trying to get a mortgage. I made every attempt to connect with them, I paid my account per the agreement sent me to, and none of this was noted in the agreement.
