On Wednesday, XX/XX/23 I checked my credit scoring and saw a new inquiry with Equifax, this caused my credit score to drop XXXX points. Most important I did not apply for this, nor did I apply for anything in the last 6 months at least. I contacted XXXX XXXX about this credit card application on XX/XX/23 and was notified they had nothing connected to my SSN or name. I then filed an online dispute with Equifax which they responded was legitimate on XX/XX/23. I then called XXXX XXXX back on XX/XX/23. They notified me I had nothing with them, and they could not give me any documentation since I had no account with them. I then contacted Equifax and spoke with them via phone on XX/XX/23 who stated they could not remove without documentation from XXXX. Now I'm in a situation where an inquiry is on my report which I didn't do and have no way to clear it.
