Upon exiting forbearance, I applied for the Homeowners Relief Fund and received an escrow payment from the state of Florida. However, I have recently been informed that my payment projection for this year includes over {$4000.00} in escrow fees that I apparently owe. I attempted to address this issue in XXXX of last year by contacting the responsible party, but have yet to receive a response as of today, XX/XX/2023. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to make a payment of {$1700.00} due to the fact that the funds from the state of Florida were applied incorrectly. As a result, I have spent numerous hours attempting to resolve this matter, but every time I manage to speak with someone, I am placed on hold and the call eventually drops. It is unacceptable that I have had to invest so much time in resolving an issue that was caused by their mistake. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter and reclaiming the time and effort that I have lost due to this situation.
