I am under the impression that because I did not pay the whole {$9000.00} plus that the company wanted me to pay at the end of the full contract that my account was marked as not settled in full, however I did pay ALL the money that was initially given to me in full. The loan was paid off before the full term so of course I didn't pay what I would have paid if the loan was left open longer. How am I getting punished for interest that I didn't accumulate due to the contract closing sooner than later. Keep in mind this was all going on during the peak of Covid-19 with no income coming in which is why I applied for the loan in the first place. So basically the company is upset because they didn't make any money off of my loan. I paid EVERY dollar BORROWED BACK that was deposited into my account from One Main. You can't count interest for a loan that was not open for the full term which is what I discussed with their lawyer on the phone while mailing her my certified payment. I was promised otherwise and my credit report does not reflect what I was told. Please fix this because I am not accepting this from the company. I received a loan from the company in XXXX 2020 during the pandemic when my family lost everything. I was not working and the company was advised that and I paid them in full ; more than the initial loan that they gave me. Upon paying the loan the company told me that they would mark my account paid in full with no late fees but instead marked me down as settled. I literally paid them way more than they first gave me. I had disputed before and still no resolution from them. Please help.
