On XX/XX/ I received a letter from XXXXXXXX XXXX that told me that there was an application for an XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, and they were unable to verify my Social Security number so they were unable to issue a card. However, there was an inquiry into my credit score. The date of the initial transaction was XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX got a copy of my Equifax credit report ; that I did not apply for nor authorize. I called Equifax immediately and had a fraud alert and a freeze on my credit report. Additionally, the address on the XXXX denial letter is my old address, we moved over a year ago and that is not my current address.
