Consumer Narrative
My car has a transponder, I went through a toll out of state ( MD ) on XX/XX/XXXX. I thought the toll was paid through the account set up through the transponder. I received no bill until XX/XX/XXXX, so I had no opportunity to pay the toll in a timely basis, and was not aware that the transponder account did not pay the toll. Now I am informed that I need to pay at {$25.00} late fee for a {$4.00} toll. I think it's totally unfair to be charged a late fee for a toll I was not informed of earlier.
