Im a XXXX XXXX XXXX cardholder on vacation in XXXX ( XXXX ) where my card has been declined at every single merchant ; using any type of card-present transaction ( Chip, Tap-and-go, Apple Pay ) for my account XXXX. This new XXXX credit account was established by me recently with the purpose of achieving my {$3000.00} minimum spend requirement during my month long holiday to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. As of this writing on XX/XX/2023 XXXX has made it impossible for me to use this card overseas. I have contacted XXXX and spoken to more than XXXX different individuals there since XX/XX/2023 about my challenges while abroad in international calls at my own cost. This is no exaggeration ( check your records ) ; XXXX has XXXX XXXX notes ; and those calls are recorded. The purpose of this complaint is to reach a higher-level department outside of those previously involved to finally resolve this issue = allow me to use my credit card overseas ( physical, card present and apple pay kind of transactions )! XXXX has made me contact multiple departments over the course of this ordeal. Namely : XXXX Member Services ( aka PenFed themselves ; CC issuer ) Cardmember Security ( apparently a VISA or external vendor party to PenFed ) On XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX- I spoke to XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX who wasnt really helpful. She was escalated directly from a supervisor of XXXX XXXX named XXXX. He informed XXXX that all of my fraud risk profile had been adjusted and accounted for my travel notice ; and further confirmed that all my transactions patterns match the XXXX of a regular traveler. In other words ; the merchants I have been declined at like XXXX do not deserve to be flagged as declined.
