I reviewed my consumer report and noticed that a bankruptcy is being reported on my account. I have contacted the credit reporting agencies to get this information removed with no resolve. I am disputing this derogatory information as it is harmful to my personal report and because I never gave my consent to share this information to my my report. 15 US Code 1681 b Permissible Purposes of Consumer Reports ( a ) In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to it relates. ( C ) the consumer report will be kept confidential, will be used solely for a purpose described in subparagraph ( A ), and will not be used in connection with any other civil, administrative, or criminal proceeding, or for any other purpose. The consumer reporting agencies are violating my consumer rights. They stated that the information was acquired from a third party source and shared without my consent.
