On XXXX XXXX I booked a home Iowa through XXXX for XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX in all the home was XXXX but at the time I only paid XXXX until my next payment which would of been in XXXX, I was going to Iowa for work but days after that I didnt have to go to Iowa because my contract got cancelled on XXXX XXXX I tried to talk to the host about my situation and asked can I get my money back since I wasnt no longer coming but the host didnt want to agree to giving me all my money she stated she was going by her policy which I didnt worry about it at the time of booking because I didnt think my contract would get canceled and I was trying to get somewhere to stay before it was to late so she wanted me to sign a cancellation policy and only give me back XXXX but I didnt and wasnt going to agree with that so I didnt sign anything, after that I didnt hear anything else from the host, I then called Airbnb and let them know what happened they also tried to talk to the host she also told them the same thing, they continue to talk to her thats when the host told Airbnb she would do 50 % if I signed the cancellation policy I didnt agree again and I didnt sign because I felt like if I did I was agreeing to what the host was saying and Im constantly telling Airbnb it wasnt fair because Im no longer going to the property and I let them know as soon as I got the information, whatever was going on or said with the host Airbnb had to deliver the message, this situation went on and on, after I seen nothing was getting resolved so I stopped responding to Airbnb, I then got my bank involved ( Wells Fargo ) and let them know what happened , I let them know I had messages phone calls everything they would need to help me, I would call the bank every other day to ask if they needed any information from me everyone I talked to stated not at the moment if we do we would let you know, the only reason I continue to call the bank every other day is because this happened to me before and they didnt get any information from me they just took my money off my card ( Wells Fargo ), after I got my money back from the bank it didnt stop there every other day Airbnb would try to get money off my card it got to the point I had to call Wells Fargo and let them know and ask what I needed to do, they said they put alert on my card so Airbnb cant get my money and also told me to get a new card or lock my card, I later get a letter in mail from Wells Fargo saying my claim was about to close I called to see what was going on and they told me I canceled my claim, Im so confused and dont know what they was talking about because I havent spoken to anyone from the bank and I had to let them know that I didnt call to cancel anything I completely didnt understand nor know anything they were talking about so all that was noted ( at least thats what they told me ) I stated again did I need to send or do anything I was told no again, I didnt hear anything else so Im thinking everything is over with. On XXXX XXXX I get a alert to my phone saying my Wells Fargo account was XXXX, I checked my account they took XXXX out my account and had me in the negative, then I get a letter in mail saying they were going to get back the XXXX because I didnt send the information they asked for ( KEEP IN MIND I HAVENT SPOKEN TO ANYONE FROM WELLS FARGO SINCE I REPORTED ABOUT THE CANCELLATION NOTICE I GOT ) I called and everyone I spoke with told me to call Airbnb , I called Airbnb they didnt have a clue to what I was talking about so I called Wells Fargo back and they would tell me to call Airbnb this went on like 7 or 8 times, Wells Fargo finally told me that they had to go by the evidence the merchant sent them and I stated what about me nobody asked for any information from me and how could they go by what the merchant said and sent them when Im there customer and been with them for a while, why do they always do this to me I also stated what was they there for, they took all my money and bill money at that and put my account in the negative its not right or fair, Im guessing they getting upset and tired of me and said Airbnb sent a contract to them, I called Airbnb back they stated again they didnt know what I was talking about, I called Wells Fargo back for the last time a they forwarded me to a guy, Im guessing hes the manager he was very nonchalant, didnt have a care for anything I had to say, didnt even care about me!! And stated that was their final decision and it was out of their hands Im very disappointed because this has happened to me twice, and I would let anyone know to stay away from Wells Fargo and I just want my money back so I can get away from them also. Thank you
