In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act Equifax has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 section 602A states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604 A section 2 it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account with out my written instructions. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act consumer reporting agencies must correct or delete inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information. At this time Equifax is reporting a collections account with only the account number, date opened and updated along with a balance. There is no other information to show this is a legit account. The account number is XXXX, opened date XX/XX/XXXX, updated on XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of {$420.00}. Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information must be removed or corrected, usually within 30 days.
