Without my permission or knowledge, on XX/XX/2023, Kay XXXX and Comenity Bank checked my credit, then opened a credit card in my name, sending me a letter dated XX/XX/2023. When I tried to report the fraud, the Comenity Bank person insisted on me providing additional personal information to identify myself as a condition of closing the account. When I refused to add personal information, the " fraud department '' person hung up on me. Clearly they are part of this. I want the account closed, and the fraud reported. Thank you.
