I need to temporarily unfreeze my credit with Experian and cancel credit monitoring with them. I tried to log in online and was locked out of my account. I tried calling over 15 times at the number provided by the " you're locked out of your account screen '' and to other numbers listed on their website. I was sent to the same prerecorded feedback loop that always ended with the same two options -- offering to direct me to their website or reading instructions on how to send in a request by mail. I need a human to unlock my account, unfreeze my credit, and cancel credit monitoring. I am applying for a mortgage so need the credit unfreeze in a timely manner. It is completely unacceptable not to have an option to speak to a human being. I also XXXX at experian 's help XXXX account and sent them a direct message on XXXX. I received a canned reply to my direct message but I provided the information requested ( account number, phone number, and zip code ) and have heard nothing further. This all occurred on XX/XX/2023.
