I completed an application for XXXX at XXXX apartment complex. Once they received my money, the stopped all communication. I called for several days and into the next week with no response on a decision in regards to my application. I called my bank due to believing it is fraud. XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX then had someone call me stating they were from Hunter Warfield to collect debt. They man was extremely rude and was yelling over the phone. He then threatened and said I " better pay the debt '' or he would report to the credit bureau and " ding my credit ''. He also told me to let him know when I got a lawyer. I tried calling the complex again last week with no response. It is like they are screening my calls. They had great communication until they received my payment.
