Consumer Narrative

In XX/XX/2022, I sent a letter to Experian asking them to complete an investigation of the full accuracy of various items appearing on my credit report. I informed them that I am a victim of identity theft and that I did not recognize several accounts. Last month, I received a letter back from Experian stating that they verified the bankruptcy information that is displaying on my credit report. I demand to know how Experian verified the bankruptcy as 100 % accurate and as belonging to me. They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 USC 1681 to ensure that the information reporting truly belongs to me. 15 USC 1681 section 603 ( 3 ) ( E ) States : The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. They also violated my rights numerous times. The credit bureaus violated my given rights under 15 USC 1681. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It alsostates a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions According to : 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Experian claimed to have completed a reasonable investigation with the furnisher of information and verified the account listed below as reporting 100 % accurate. However, the accounts below are still inaccurate and Experian is STILL continuing to report errors on my credit file, which is causing damage to my credit score. I have previously requested that you investigate this information and you have failed to correct the errors you are reporting on my credit report. Now is not the time to update, I demand that you IMMEDIATELY DELETE this inaccurate information from my credit report : Account Name : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Account Number : XXXX I have previously requested that you investigate this information and you have failed to correct the errors you are reporting on my credit report. Now is not the time to update, I demand that you IMMEDIATELY DELETE this inaccurate information from my credit report : Account Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX Case Number : XXXX I am attaching a copy of the letter that I sent to Experian in XXXX requesting them to verify the accuracy of every account listed. I am also attaching a copy of the electronic return receipt showing the signature of the Experian representative who signed for the letter. I am also attaching a copy of my credit report showing the inaccurate information that is still reporting on my credit file. I am also attaching two forms of ID for Experian to confirm that I am the person submitting this dispute. I need this incorrect information removed from my credit file. This inaccurate information reporting on my credit report is negatively affecting my ability to secure a job or home for my family. I can not continue to have these errors reporting on my credit report any longer due to Experian 's negligence and refusal to follow FCRA laws.
