I am being taken for a garnishment by this company and I have no idea who they are. This debt is not listed anywhere on any XXXX credit reports. I have tried to call them several times to get information and no one answers the phone or returns messages. I last attempted to call this company again after I was served this week and was told they are garnishing me and why would they do a settlement offer when they can just take my paycheck and then hung up on me. I tried to call back at least XXXX more times and they would not answer. Also the name that is given for the company is totally different than the name of the company listed on the garnishment paperwork and when I asked them if they were a debt collector they told me I just wan na agrue and that they are not a debt collector. I have not received any letters from this company and again they are not listed anywhere on my credit report. They flat out refused to provide me with any information on this debt but trying to garnish me for XXXX dollars. When you call the recorded line says you are calling XXXX XXXX XXXX, not the name listed on the garnishment.
