There have been several violations committed by the company during the dispute invading consumer financial protection bureau laws : XXXX XXXX, XXXX : Company sent a letter threatening to report nonpayment to the credit bureau if not received 30 days from the XX/XX/XXXX ( Adverse credit reports prohibited ) - Several phone calls from customer service and the default department to make a payment during the dispute ( Consumer 's right to withhold disputed amount ; collection action prohibited. ) -The company is not providing full disclosure in contract -The entire principal balance is in dispute since XX/XX/XXXX. There were several attempts to settle the debt. - Request specific documents from the company but did not receive them in a timely manner -Abuse of debt collection practice -Failure to validate debt or provide proof of funds
