I received the attached {$120.00} broadband bill for period XXXX, although I returned my equipment and terminated services on XX/XX/22, in a XXXX store location in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX confirmed the return of my equipment and the cancellation of my account on XX/XX/22 and when I asked why I was being charged the entire month instead of 2 days, I was told that " they do not prorate monthly service '' and I was expected to pay the entire bill. When I protested, I was told that " that is company policy ''. When I asked for proof of this in writing in any agreement I had with them, I was told again that it is " company policy '', and no proof was provided. I have now been sent to collections ( Sunrise Credit Services ), attempting to collect a debt that is not mine.
