I had my identity stolen ( I suspect by a family member ) and several fraudulent inquiries and other items appeared on my report. I filed an FTC report on XX/XX/22. I called and asked Experian to remove the inquiries and they stated they needed a copy of my FTC report. On XXXX/XXXX/222 I submitted a request to Experian by certified mail asking them to remove several fraudulent inquiries on my report. I also included the FTC fraud report. Tracking shows that they received this letter on XX/XX/22. The inquiries were not removed so I called Experian and they stated that refused to remove the inquiries because they were connected to a car loan on my account. I have reviewed all the inquiries and although they occurred around the same time that I purchased my vehicle, I did not initiate a credit application with the companies below and I do not have a car loan with any of these companies. I have had a family member who I suspect attempted to purchase a vehicle and other things in my name. I suspect it was a family member because of several other incidences that occurred with this same person, although I don't have any solid proof. It is unfair of Experian to refuse to remove these inquiries, especially since I have included an FTC report regarding the fraud. I have called over and over within the past few months and no one at Experian will help me. Again, I have not applied with nor have a loan with any of the companies listed below : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX some of the inquiries occur repeatedly. I haven't gotten a car loan on any of these dates or with any of these companies so I don't see how they could be connected to any car loan of mine. Remove the fraudulent inquiries.
