I honestly hope somebody reads this. I'm not entirely sure I selected the right button for this dispute. I had already filed a complaint against this company about this account being past the statue of limitations in the State Of Texas and that they never informed me that they owned the debt. This complaint was thrown out and found in favor of the collection company and I have proof that nobody actually did any investigation into this matter. Today I received a letter from Spring Oak Capital with a statement from an old XXXX XXXX account that I had informed you was past the time limit to be collected on. I knew I was 100 % correct so I decided to do the research for you. I went back and printed off a copy of my credit report where it clearly states the account was closed on XX/XX/XXXX. I even called XXXX XXXX and they informed me that the account was in fact closed on XX/XX/XXXX, the last payment on this account was on XX/XX/XXXX. The account was closed 90 days after the account went into default for non payment. The statue of Limitations in the State of Texas is 7 years, which would make the end date XX/XX/XXXX. This is XX/XX/XXXX and I'm still messing with this account that has no reason to be tried to collect on and totally has no reason to even be on my credit report any more. I will attach the letter I received from Spring Oak aswell as a copy of my XXXX credit report where it clearly states the facts in this matter.
