This is not a duplicate nor is this complaint filed by a third party. I am filing this complaint myself. Please see this complaint is processed to the letter of the law. I have disputed this XXXX and it has not been corrected. The account is still reporting wrong on my credit report but it is already closed. The account has been closed however, the account payment status is late. The account payment status CAN NOT be late on an account that has already been closed. The account status is wrong and should be closed. Now, I want you to correct this misinformation on my file. Under Section 614, restrictions on investigative consumer reports [ 15 U.S.C. 1681l ], you only restrict to investigate my personal file if no adverse information in my report ( other than information which is a matter of public record ) may be included in a subsequent consumer report unless such adverse information has been verified in the process of making such subsequent consumer report, or the adverse information was received within the three-month period preceding the date the subsequent report is furnished.
