Capital One closed several of my credit cards due to a return payment on just XXXX of my Capital One credit card, but they closed XXXX instead. I called Capital One and explained to them that XXXX XXXX XXXX had problems with XXXX and my payments got returned. Capital One is XXXX of the owners of XXXX and could have easily checked my claim and kept my accounts open, but they chose to close my accounts after 20 years on onetime payments. I then filed a complaint with CFPB and got a generic response which is a unsatisfactory result. They did no investigation, nor did they try to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX or XXXX to confirm my claim.
