I have a TD Bank business account which I opened when I lived in XXXX. I recently moved to XXXX with the intention of keeping my business and my business account open but since then, circumstances have changed and I have been forced to close my business and therefore no longer require the account. I have asked TD how I can close my account even though I live outside of their service area and their only response has been to go to a local branch. I find this to be an untenable solution when personal account holders have the option of sending a notarized letter or requesting the account closure through their secure messaging system. At this point, in order to avoid paying the monthly maintenance fee, I will be forced to maintain a minimum of {$1500.00} in the account. This will go on until I am able to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to make an unnecessary trip to XXXX and close the account in person.
