Checks were stolen while I was XXXX and used to open a bank account with XXXX XXXX. When I discovered this, I immediately contacted local law enforcement who was reluctant to take a report, refusing to take an in-person report. I was told to handle it with the bank and that there was nothing the police could do. Finally, after months of not being able to get an answer from XXXX after sending in everything I needed with an affidavit disputing the checks used to open the XXXX account ( which XXXX keeps denying ) and having called every 3 days for over a year being ignored, sent me a notice that they will not help me recover my funds because I didnt cooperate with law enforcement when it was law enforcement that refused to cooperate with me. I have since reported this to XXXX. Nobody will take responsibility despite prompt reporting of the situation and evidence that funds have been grossly misappropriated and handling this situation where XXXX has been on conference call with XXXX and denied it removing funds from my account, has been devastating especially whiXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
