On XX/XX/2023 I have filled the complaint XXXX with CFPB, but I have not received an email confirmation nor I am able to locate it on my complaints profile. I have called ( XXXX ) XXXX yesterday and I was advised to file it once again. I still have incorrect information on my credit report, after the second letter mailed disputing with the credit reporting agency. I have warned the agency that I had given them the 30 days to the information be updated, and therefore, the letter served as formal notice that they had failed to respond in a timely manner to my original dispute. I've made a final goodwill attempt to have this matter cleared up, but again they have failed to so once again. Attached you will find the latest letter sent to them. This is a big issue for me as any and all inaccurate and/or outdated information must be deleted immediately from credit report. I have also requested that if the items were validated that they should present the response accordingly to Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) - they are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract. On top of the physical validation, I've asked them for proof by providing who validated the information and how the validation occurred. I need names, addresses and telephone numbers of individuals Experian contacted during the investigation along with the form SSA-89 to certify they have a signed authorization for the Social Security Administration to release Social Security Number verification accordingly with 18 U.S. Code 1028. Again, I not only didn't get all of my requested, but the credit reporting agency disregarded my demand to send information through regular mail. The response I've got was sent to me by an email on XX/XX/2023. 15 U.S Code 1681b requires that consumer reporting agencies adopt reasonable procedures for meeting the needs of commerce for consumer credit, personnel, insurance, and other information in a manner which is fair and equitable to the consumer, with regard to the confidentiality, accuracy, relevancy, and proper utilization of such information in accordance with the requirements of this subchapter. If after reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified the consumer reporting agency shall promptly delete that item of information of the consumer. It is illegal to retain or report inaccurate, misleading, or unproven information, especially considering a composed consumer complaint notifying Experian of said issues. Besides, There are no notifications of items being disputed on the current credit report ; 15 U.S. Code 1681 Section 602 A states I have the right to privacy ; and 15 U.S. Code 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions.
