Apartment complex XXXX at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AZ XXXX, where I happened to reside temporarily. I summited an application to become roommates with the person already living there XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX. Application was then approved. Fast forward to a few month 's later XX/XX/XXXX. I managed to get an apartment for myself in which I was needing rental history. Which then I went over to the leasing office at XXXX where I happen to find out there was never a new lease made with my name on it showing proof of me being a resident there. That brought upon many issues as the apartment complex I was wanting to move into needed that history before approving my application. The manager of the leasing office at XXXX was made aware by another employee that my name or information was not a part of the current lease they had in hand. Therefore, the manager had to email the new complex and let them know of the office error for them to approve me as it had nothing to do with me not completing what was needing on my end. The new apartment complex at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AZ XXXX, then approved me. Later on XX/XX/XXXX I receive an alert that an account on my credit has been open owing {$260.00} from Genesis Credit Management that XXXX is now billing me for rugs I am not responsible for as I had no bedroom in that apartment. Now I have this debt lingering on my credit effecting my score and my future home purchasing. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.
