On XX/XX/XXXX I chose XXXX items on XXXX to purchase. A small Affirm icon appeared next to one of the items and I opened it see what it was. It was an offer that stated if I paid off the loan within a certain amount of time I would not be charged interest. I decided to apply. In the process there was a place to select how many months in which I would pay it off. I believed I was choosing 6 months without interest because of the offer I had just read. When I checked my account today XX/XX/XXXX I saw that I had immediately been charged interest. I called affirm. The first person I spoke to, XXXX, put me on hold and then hung up on me. The second person listened, gave me a list of some of the reasons I was denied " no interest '' and passed me to a XXXX. That person gave me the same information but could not give me a valid reason for being refused the " no interest ''. My credit score is over 700 and I have an excellent payment history. Other than that Affirm 's representative had no excuse for the deception. Affirm was deceptive in it's advertisement, did not state what reasons could negate their offer, and when they gave me the option to select a time limit to pay off the loan, it was not in accordance with the initial offer which I assumed would be XXXX mos no interest, I find this unacceptable and would never Align myself with such a high interest rate.
