On or around XXXX XXXX I contacted Experian regarding their reporting of the XXXX XXXX XXXX account. Pursuant to 602. Congressional findings and statement of purpose [ 15 U.S.C. 1681 ] ( 3 ) Consumer reporting agencies have assumed a vital role in assembling and evaluating consumer credit and other information on consumers. ( 4 ) There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. Experian is not respecting my right to privacy. Experian continues to report information that is excluded from my consumer report. On XX/XX/2023 Experian alleges the investigation is complete and my report was updated however I do not see any update to the report. I hereby request Experian to provide me a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information being reported by the furnisher. This description shall include and not be limited to the business name and address of any furnisher of the information contacted in connection with such information and the person whom they talked to along with the contact phone number of the individual. I have attached supporting documentation that shows XXXX XXXX XXXX states they are required by law to report my experiences and transactions with them however my contract shows NOTHING about reporting late payments to the credit reporting agencies. I have pointed that matter of fact out to Experian yet they are still " verifing '' the information as accurate. I never consented nor gave permission and was never afforded an opportunity to opt out to XXXX XXXX Services sharing my information with the credit reporting agencies. With evidence attached how can Experian lawfully continue to violate my consumer rights?
