On XX/XX/2022 I sent information to the XXXX major credit bureaus requesting they verify my accounts as quite a bit of information is inaccurate. below is the letter that was sent including each account I requested verification for. I do not have the complete account numbers included. This information has been verified as accurate yet it is still inaccurate. I received a copy of my credit report with the intention of improving my credit and noticed a few accounts that I wanted a little more explanation on. I am not sure my report is XXXX percent accurate. From my understanding, according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act where it said by law, I have the right to challenge anything I am not confident is accurately portrayed on my report. Some of the items being reported are from companies I have not conducted business with and have never heard of which is concerning and is another reason for this letter. After becoming familiar with 15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681i ( a ) I understand that if you cant provide proof, these accounts must be deleted from my report. I want these accounts deleted if they are not XXXX percent correct. It is also my undertanding that you have XXXX days to complete this investigation. Please investigate the following accounts and remove them if anything is missing or incorrectly listed on them. I'd like to know who else has access to my file and upon completion of the entire investigation please send the results and the updated credit report to the address listed in this letter.
