Submitted a billing error dispute with Capital One under title 15. USC. 16666 within 60 days of my last received statement. I notified Capital One that there was a billing error and Capital One proceeds to not only close the account, but charge the account off. Per 15 USC 1666 ( d ) this constitutes as a violation. There was a computation error as the disclosure documents specifically the document that details how the interest is calculated was not clearly and conspicuously disclose within the statement.
